A bejeweled version of the Cleo is also available if you're looking for something a bit more extravagant.

Prada bags feature an inverted triangle design which is placed on the outside of the bag. It includes four lines: the brand name, the city of origination (Milano) and coat of arms. The card may contain the bag's serial number or barcode, which you can use to access more details on the Prada website.
Another method to verify the authenticity of a Prada bag is to check the hardware. The clasps, zippers and feet of the bag should be made from gold or silver. Interior Logo Plaque

Authentic Prada bags feature a leather or ceramic plaque that displays two to three lines of text. The words should match with the color of bag lining. If the tag is only three or two numbers, or is printed in black, it's not a genuine bag. Prada also has a unique white label with branded markings, also known as a factory or quality assurance tag. It will be an identifier that is different between Prada and Milano and may also state MADE IN ITALY. Check the bag for this tag, and in the event that it is not present it could be a fake.
If you find the logo on the bag is made from plastic or fabric instead of leather, it may be a counterfeit. Additionally, the plaque must be secured to the lining, and have four corners that are round. The font used on the interior of the plaque must be the same font used on the exterior.
Examine the fonts on the bag, as well as the plaque. The letters should be uniform throughout the bag, especially on the dust bag and authenticity card, if you have one.
